About HHG Legal Group.

We have been supporting Western Australians since 1919 with clear, practical legal advice delivered across metropolitan and regional communities.

Over a century of service. A future focused on you.

For more than a century, HHG Legal Group has been supporting Western Australians with clear, practical legal guidance when it matters most. From our origins in the Great Southern in 1919, we have grown into a multi-specialty, multi-office firm serving individuals, families, businesses and government across metropolitan and regional Western Australia.

Our team combines experience with a commitment to quality. We deliver well-considered advice, documentation and representation tailored to the unique needs of each client, whether the task is straightforward or complex. With offices in Perth, Joondalup, Mandurah, Bunbury, Albany and Mount Barker, we provide connected legal support that reflects both local knowledge and wide-ranging capability.

Our Story.

HHG Legal Group began in Albany in 1919, when Charles Hudson established a law practice just after the First World War. In 1924, he formed a partnership with McAllum Henning, and the firm continued under the name Hudson and Henning. Over the decades that followed, the business evolved through changes in leadership and structure, becoming Hudson Henning Goodman and, later, Hudson Henning & Goodman.

In the early 2000s, Simon Creek and Murray Thornhill acquired the firm and set it on a new course as HHG Legal Group. Since then, we have expanded our footprint across WA, strengthened our service offering, and continued to build a firm that reflects our clients’ needs and aspirations.

Today, HHG Legal Group remains deeply rooted in its heritage of trusted legal service. Our history inspires how we work — with integrity, care and an unwavering focus on achieving the best outcomes for those we serve.
