Amaren Mootoosamy is a Lawyer in HHG Legal Group’s Family & De Facto team, assisting clients throughout Western Australia with a range of family law matters.

Amaren works with individuals and families navigating separation, parenting disputes and financial settlements. He understands that family law matters can be emotionally challenging and often involve decisions that will affect clients and their families for years to come. His focus is on providing clear advice, practical guidance and responsive support throughout the legal process.

Since being admitted to practice in Western Australia in 2021, Amaren has developed experience across a broad range of family law matters. Working alongside HHG’s experienced Family Law team, he assists clients to understand their legal position, identify practical pathways forward and work towards outcomes that support their long-term interests.

Clients value Amaren’s calm and approachable manner. He takes the time to understand each client’s circumstances and objectives, recognising that every family situation is different and requires a tailored approach.

Born in Canada and having called Perth home for more than two decades, Amaren brings a broad perspective to his work. His diverse cultural background and extensive travel experience have strengthened his ability to connect with people from different backgrounds and understand the unique challenges they may face.

Outside the office, Amaren enjoys soccer, travel and exploring Western Australia’s natural environment.
