Cheryl Edwardes AM is Honorary Special Counsel at HHG Legal Group and Chair of HHG Giving Back, the firm’s charitable and community initiative supporting individuals, organisations, and communities across Western Australia.

One of Western Australia’s most respected legal and public figures, Cheryl brings decades of experience across law, government, leadership, and community service. A former Attorney General of Western Australia and Minister for the Environment, she has played a significant role in shaping public policy, legislative reform, and community initiatives throughout the state.

In her role with HHG Giving Back, Cheryl works closely with the firm and community partners to support initiatives focused on social impact, access to support services, community connection, and meaningful engagement across metropolitan and regional Western Australia. Her leadership, experience, and longstanding commitment to public service continue to play an important role in guiding the programme and strengthening HHG’s connection to the communities it serves.

Known for her integrity, professionalism, and thoughtful leadership, Cheryl is highly regarded across Western Australia for her contribution to public life and community advocacy. She has held numerous leadership and board positions across government, business, community, and not-for-profit organisations throughout her career.

Cheryl was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in recognition of her significant service to the Western Australian Parliament and the wider community.
