Dianne Caruso is a Special Counsel in HHG Legal Group’s family law team, advising individuals and families across a broad range of parenting, relationship, and financial matters.
With extensive experience in family law, Dianne assists clients through matters that are often emotionally and practically complex, including parenting arrangements, property settlements, spousal maintenance, divorce, and family violence matters. She works closely with clients to provide clear guidance, practical support, and thoughtful advice tailored to their individual circumstances and long-term goals.
Before entering private practice, Dianne worked as a Legal Associate to several Judges of the Family Court of Western Australia, including the Honourable Justice Crooks, Acting Judge Warnick, Acting Judge Boland, and Justice Walters. This experience provided valuable insight into the Family Court process and the judicial approach to complex parenting and financial matters.
Dianne also has a particular interest in surrogacy, IVF, and assisted reproductive treatment matters, advising clients navigating the legal and personal considerations associated with growing and structuring modern families. She understands the sensitive and deeply personal nature of these matters and works closely with clients to help them navigate the legal framework with clarity and confidence.
An accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Dianne is committed to helping clients resolve disputes constructively wherever possible. She has significant experience assisting clients through mediations and negotiated outcomes, with a focus on reducing conflict and supporting practical, sustainable resolutions for families moving forward.
Her experience also includes assisting clients through complex financial matters involving business interests, trusts, and asset structures arising in relationship breakdowns. Clients value Dianne’s approachable nature, responsiveness, and ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and accessible way.
