Leon Belica is an Associate in HHG Legal Group’s family law team, advising individuals and families across a broad range of parenting, relationship, and financial matters throughout Western Australia.

Leon works closely with clients navigating separation, parenting disputes, property settlements, divorce matters, and family violence restraining order proceedings. He has experience assisting clients through both straightforward and increasingly complex family law matters, with a focus on providing practical guidance and strong client support throughout the legal process.

Admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2021, Leon has practised exclusively in family law since admission and has developed significant experience representing clients in the Family Court of Western Australia and Magistrates Court. His experience includes first return parenting and property matters, interim hearings, mediations, conciliation conferences, case assessment conferences, and restraining order proceedings.

Leon has managed a substantial family law file load and has assisted senior lawyers and directors on more complex parenting and financial matters, including matters progressing toward trial. He has also instructed on Family Court trials and has experience working closely with clients through all stages of litigation and dispute resolution.

Leon focuses on helping clients feel informed, prepared, and supported while working toward practical and sustainable outcomes.
