Luke Davies is a Managing Associate in HHG Legal Group’s Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution team, advising businesses, individuals and organisations across a broad range of commercial disputes and contentious matters.

Whilst being part of the broader dispute resolution team, Luke heads up HHG Legal Group’s Employment and Estate Litigation teams.

Luke assists clients with employment disputes (employee and employer), estate litigation matters, contractual disputes, property and leasing matters, debt recovery, insolvency-related disputes, and broader commercial litigation issues. He regularly works with clients through negotiations, mediations and court proceedings, helping them navigate complex disputes with clear, practical and commercially focused guidance.

As Managing Associate, Luke plays an important role in supporting the management and development of HHG’s commercial litigation practice. Working closely with Partner Riaan Piek and the broader dispute resolution team, he heads up the Employment and the Estate Litigation teams, contributes to the supervision of matters, the mentoring and support of junior team members, and the delivery of consistent, responsive service to clients across metropolitan and regional Western Australia.

With significant experience in dispute resolution, Luke understands the commercial and personal pressures that can arise during litigation. He takes a measured and pragmatic approach, helping clients understand their options, manage risk and work towards sensible outcomes.

Known for his calm, approachable and thoughtful manner, Luke is highly regarded by clients and colleagues for the steady support he brings during challenging matters. He takes the time to understand each client’s circumstances and is committed to building strong relationships based on trust, responsiveness and practical advice.

  • Represents clients in all jurisdictions (including SAT) in disputes concerning capacity and EPAs and EPGs
  • Advised clients (liquidators and non-liquidators) in commercial and corporate insolvency disputes including unfair preference claims
