Taona Maforimbo is an Intern based in HHG Legal Group’s Perth office, supporting lawyers across a broad range of practice areas.
Taona assists the team with legal research, drafting, document preparation, file management and court preparation. Through roles held alongside his studies, he has gained practical experience across family law, wills and estates, property, commercial litigation, criminal law and local government matters.
Prior to commencing as an Intern with HHG Legal Group, Taona completed a clerkship with the firm, gaining valuable insight into our practice, clients and approach to legal service. He has also worked as a paralegal and vacation clerk, with experience preparing court documents and barristers’ briefs, attending court hearings, conducting legal research and liaising with clients and other parties.
Taona is completing his Bachelor of Laws at Murdoch University, with graduation expected in November 2026. During his studies, he has also been actively involved in the legal community, including through the Law Society of Western Australia’s Law Student Mentorship Program and the Society of African Australian Lawyers.
