This May, we encourage you to take a moment to reflect on our relative comfort and wealth as we raise funds for important charity partner, Hagar Australia.
Transforming the lives of people across Cambodia, Vietnam and Afghanistan, Hagar Australia work to rescue victims of human trafficking, slavery or abuse – mostly women and children. Hagar ensure each survivor has a safe place to live, trauma counselling, medical care, the opportunity to go to school, gain a university degree or learn vocational skills, and support they need to rebuild their lives.
They call this the whole journey and have supported more than 16,000 survivors. In the spirit of Hagar Australia’s commitment to supporting woman and children from start-to-finish, we hope you’ll join us on this journey.
Mixing aromatic cocktails, live music and tantalising canapés, let’s come together in solidarity for this worthy cause. All profits from ticket sales, raffles and auctions will go direct to Hagar.
When: 5:30-8:30pm, Friday 4 May 2018
Where: Gershwin’s Wine Bar at Hyatt Regency (a series of interconnecting rooms boasting a 1930s Manhattan art-deco style)
Tickets: $65* plus booking fee (purchase through Eventbrite).
*Ticket price includes one welcome drink. All profits from this event will be donated to Hagar Australia.
