James Versteegen | Family & De Facto Law | Special Counsel

James is a highly experienced Family Lawyer, working across all aspects of Family Law practice, with a particular interest in advocacy, complex child related matters and resolving intra and inter-state relocation cases.

James graduated from the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle in 2012 before commencing work as an Articled Clerk with HHG Legal Group in 2013. James was admitted to practice in 2014.

James returns to HHG Legal Group in 2024, after six years working with both national and local Family Law firms.

Acknowledging that separation and / or divorce can be an incredibly difficult time, James places emphasis on achieving effective and timely outcomes for clients via negotiation and mediation wherever possible.
