Construction is all about getting materials and labour on site, on time and in sequence. If even one supply or one trade arrives late or finishes late, the entire program can be thrown off course. To add to the complexity (and risk), consider the time impact of your principal or head contractor ordering additional works or changing the specifications in a way that means having to do more in less time and at a higher cost.
Look out for HHG Legal Group’s next Q&A series on delay in construction, presented by Murray Thornhill, Director and Daniel Morris, Senior Associate.
