BARBER SETTLES OUT OF COURT FOR REFUSING TO CUT A GIRL’S HAIR

An eight-month legal battle finally ended for the Sydney barber who refused to cut a girl’s hair, with the sex discrimination claim settling outside of court. Following its much-publicised conclusion, Simon Creek joined Tim McMillian in the 6PR studio to discuss the legalities surrounding gender (and perhaps the array of alternative hairdressers available across Australia).

Then, answering listener questions, Simon sheds light on whether there is a limit on how far insurance assessors can go to keep claimants honest, ways of navigating estate administration when you’re feuding with the other executors, and the legal difference between being de-facto and engaged.
