Calan Williams is the first Western Australian to win a seat racing in FIA Formula 2. This immediately brings him very close to his Formula 1 dream of racing alongside Daniel Ricciardo, another Perth success story.

After stunning results in post-season testing in Abu Dhabi late last year, Calan will race with Italian team, Trident Motorsport, in the 2022 FIA Formula 2 Championship.

In 2021, HHG Legal Group and Calan Williams Racing Pty Ltd entered into a long-term advisory and sponsorship partnership focussed on assisting Calan to achieve his dream of becoming a Formula 1 international motorsport champion.

The first major task quickly became working with the team to negotiate and finalise a contract with Trident. The complex exercise involved both Australian and Italian lawyers.
