5 STAR EMPLOYER OF CHOICE AWARD 2022 | AUSTRALASIAN LAWYER’S

We are delighted to be named an Employer of Choice in Australasian Lawyer’s annual list of Australia’s top legal employers.

Earlier this year, Australasian Lawyer invited nominations for the seventh edition of its 5-Star Employer of Choice list. The publication aims to focus the spotlight on law firms in Australia that introduced the most effective employee-centred programs during a challenging period.

Firms were asked to list their initiatives to address the following key areas that the research team considered critical to a positive employee experience:

• Training and professional development,
• Career progression,
• Diversity and inclusion,
• Access to technology and resources,
• Communication,
• Leadership,
• Work-life balance,
• Health and wellbeing,
• Reward and recognition, and recruitment

The research team obtained quantitative and qualitative information to confirm how the firms performed as leading workplaces.

This is a testament to the work undertaken by our People Lead, Amy Summerville (and Rachael Taylor before her) who established our unique Career, Performance & Wellbeing (CPW) and hybrid working initiatives, as well as further developing our leadership structure and emerging leadership opportunities.
