EXCITING TIMES AHEAD AS HHG LEGAL GROUP MAKE A SIGNIFICANT INVESTMENT IN THEIR PEOPLE

Since opening their doors in 1919, HHG has been assisting Western Australian businesses, governments, and individuals with their legal requirements for over 100 years.

Due to recent significant growth, and an increased focus on our people, HHG Legal Group has expanded their Operations Team by appointing Rachael Taylor, as People, Performance, and Culture Lead.

Rachael will work closely with the operations and leadership teams to fine tune people processes, improve learning and development capabilities, introduce culture and wellbeing initiatives, as well as provide performance and leadership coaching across the firm.

Rachael joins from KPMG Australia where she worked as a Human Resources Business Partner, providing trusted counsel, support, and guidance to partners, people managers, and employees on the full range of complex people and performance related matters found in a professional services firm.

Rachael has an extensive and varied background as a generalist HR practitioner, having previously held roles with Virgin Australia, VenuesWest, and the West Australian Symphony Orchestra.

Rachael was a professional athlete on the Australian Rowing Team and Australian Olympic Team and was an Olympic Silver medalist in the Women’s Coxless Pair at the Sydney 2000 games. Rachael’s experience as an elite athlete led her to a career in HR, where she has been able to continue her focus on building culture and enabling high performance in individuals and teams and across organisations.

Chief Operating Officer, Nigel Richards, commented, “We are committed to investing in our people, who are the lifeblood of this firm, and we must continually improve and innovate to attract and retain the best talent, and to ensure we offer an environment for our people to thrive. As such, Rachael’s appointment is designed to help us all reach our potential, have successful and fulfilling careers, and ensure satisfaction in the workplace.”
