Amaren Mootoosamy | Family Law | Lawyer 

Amaren Mootoosamy is a dedicated Family Lawyer who brings genuine commitment to helping clients navigate complex family law matters with empathy and professionalism. 

Since his admission to practice in Western Australia in November 2021, Amaren has developed comprehensive experience across all aspects of family law, including parenting arrangements, property division, divorce proceedings, and binding financial agreements. 

His legal journey began with a competitive legal clinic focused on social justice lawyering, where he was one of only five students selected. This early exposure to client-focused practice shaped his empathetic approach to the law. His experience also includes valuable insights gained from criminal law practice in London, broadening his understanding of different legal systems and client needs. 

Amaren is known for his methodical case preparation and attention to detail when reviewing disclosure materials and preparing comprehensive asset schedules. His excellent communication skills enable him to liaise effectively with all parties while keeping clients informed throughout the process. 

Personal Background 

Born in Canada and a Perth resident for over 21 years, Amaren’s diverse cultural background and extensive travel to over 28 countries gives him broad perspective and the ability to connect with clients from all walks of life. Outside law, he enjoys soccer, watches, and exploring nature.
