At HHG Legal Group we pride ourselves on giving back to the community. HHG Giving Back (the charitable arm of the firm) which was launched in 2015, has recognised the significant cuts that have been made to Legal Aid funding by bolstering support to those in need through our Legal Assistance Clinics. We believe law firms have an opportunity to help close the gap left by this reduced funding.
HHG Giving Back Legal Assistance Clinics are open to all. However simple or complex the advice required our award winning team of volunteer lawyers are available across our three branches in Perth, Mandurah and Albany. These short, sharp and free of charge clinics can attempt to assist you with all legal or related queries.
The clinics can provide legal information and assistance, such as:
- explaining Court procedures;
- explaining alternatives to Court;
- interpreting legal documents;
- assisting in writing brief letters;
- referring you to external organisations or individuals who may assist your circumstances;
and - general assistance.
What to bring:
a) Court Documents;
b) letters;
c) receipts and invoices; or
d) contracts or agreements.
You are also welcome to bring a friend or family member to your appointment for support.
Our Legal Assistance Clinics are open each Wednesday afternoon between 4pm – 5pm and are by appointment only. Call us or email to book your 15 minute appointment at any of our three locations.
