HHG Legal Group has appointed Merrill MacNish as Chief Operating Officer, following the successful completion of goals set by HHG’s Directors, Simon Creek and Murray Thornhill, for Nigel Richards, who became the firm’s inaugural COO in 2018.

Merrill will be responsible for supporting the operational aspects of the firm and the implementation of business strategy.

Merrill sold her four businesses in Geraldton in 2015, after 17 years, and relocated to Perth. Merrill is the recipient of many regional & state business awards and has held several Board positions, including 40under40 recipient (2011), Board Member – Small Business Development Corporation, Board Member (Treasurer) – Mid-West Small Business Centre, President – Mid West Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Upon arriving in Perth, Merrill worked in the not-for-profit Agribusiness space. She was then recruited by the Hon Alannah MacTiernan (Minister for Agriculture, Regional Development, Small Business & Hydrogen) as Executive Officer.
