After two years of consolidation, medium size law firm, HHG Legal Group, is ready for further growth and innovation.
Following a stint as Chairman during a brief foray into state politics, Simon Creek is returning to the position of Managing Director in order to implement the firm’s new strategic plan and oversee the use of new technology in business development and firm management. Simon will remain involved in Family Law as Special Counsel.
Director Murray Thornhill will be concentrating on leading the recently expanded commercial litigation team. Working alongside Simon and Murray are Associate Directors Jade Lattimore, (Commercial and Property) and Janene Bon (Estate & Succession Planning) as well as Team Leader, Marnie Parkinson (Family Law & Native Title)
While the vast majority of HHG’s staff are based in West Perth (Parliament Place), the firm’s traditional Albany office remains an important part of HHG’s future. Local specialists are backed up by regular visits from the firm’s Perth based lawyers.
As part of the revamp, Jo West has moved to HHG from Lavan Legal and is the firm’s new Practice Manager. Michael Grennell, Business Development Coordinator, joins HHG from Clayton Utz at the same time.
“We are all very excited about the next 3 years” says Creek. “A period of consolidation has led to greater efficiency, higher levels of client service and a foundation that is ready for new growth. The medium size niche is proving attractive to clients who want all of their legal needs, whether personal or business, dealt with under one roof.”
